Watch What you Eat!!

Ok so this weekend was quite eventful for us. I had four days of nearly no sleep. Saturday I sat through HUGE birthday party for a very good friend of mind. Came home and was chillin on the sofa reading the paper. Suddenly Zoe begins to scream and spit on the floor. She had bitten through a glow bracelelt. Yes, her mouth, and half the living room was glowing yellow ( personally I think purple or blue would have looked a lot neater....) then not 20 minutes after that she starts grabbing at her throat, gagging and ( belieive it or not) screaming!!! She had choked on a mancala stone ( a flat marble like rock used in a game) oh yeah, she was right NEXT to me!!! I had no idea she had it!! ( Its kinda like when kids swallow coins on accident, moms are usually not that far away!) So I call 911, and OF COURSE by the time they arrive she had swallowed it down. Well, they were a bit worried since she would not talk to them but I explained she was a bit shy. Oh even more embarassing, the paramedics hepfully picked up a few more chokeable items off the the floor for me. ( this is the kid that cut teeth on toxic, tiny, polly pocket items by the way!) I am grateful that she is fine, and that we did not need a four to six hour visit to the ER. However, I did have to explain WHY her mouth was glowing yellow....
Just so you know, glow sticks are non toxic. I am giving her a few more days to ummmm pass the stone and then it might get a little more complicated. So that is the latest of my fun adventures! Oh and the breif but violient episode I had this evening with some spoiled salasa. Serves me right for stuffing my face. I swear, I don't know who did it better, Emily years ago getting her head stuck in a chair ( that was a two hour ordeal to cut her out and Nick was of course GONE) or this. I mean. Yellow glowing mouth....(once the scary choking was over) Well, maybe I topped it all with the whole eleveator thing, It has to be genetic!! Since I refuse to go another night without sleep I am off now... tune in next week for our exciting and funny/weird adventures!!!!

Im still here!

Oh my poor blog, I don't need to neglect you. Its just that Facebook is so much eaiser, on all the time....
I don't know where to begin! I guess we will start with the kids enjoying their summer vacation. I bought a blow up pool and Sophie and Zoe have spent two days in it. I love it because they play all afternoon and go to sleep by 7:30 pm. Katey and I once again stayed up waaaay to late last night. I was lazy and didn't wash off my makeup and woke to my eyelashes all stuck. Seriously stuck. As in had to get warm water, make up remover and scissors stuck. I am ok, I still have plenty of eyelashes, but will wash my face from now on!! ( this was a teaching example for the girls, yeah, thats it!!) I am enjoying my last few days of "freedom". I will be babysitting next week and getting the kids on a more organized schedule. That means early mornings and hopefully early bed for me!!
Katey makes her conformation next month and Emily will be going to Science camp in San Diego.
I mixed up my days and forgot to put the trash/recycle out. Both are FULL. So annoying! I am neglecting the house till after sunset and going out with the kids and enjoying every sunny day we have! Happy Summer Everyone!!!

Oh my, my is THAT my three year old? Oh yes she has perfected some of her teenage sisters looks!! Second is Sophie eating...... POPCORN!!! to most of you that is not a big deal, to us, it was monumental. Enjoy, honey!

This next one is after the infamous, FaceBook quote, "lets add MORE bubbles!!!" this is the result. the last pic is of Sophie totally cofused by a friend of mines "old fashioned" camera. It took us 10 minutes to get her to understand how to take a picture. This from the kid that can snap digital pics in the blink of a eye. Go Technology!!
