Halloween!

It is official, I am having my first Halloween party. YAAAAHOOOOO. I am just a little excited here. I figured since everyone is meeting here to trick or treat we might as well make it a party. Its going to be potluck with a prize for the creepiest/coolest looking dish. For they guys who want beer ( or soda or FOOD) they HAVE to be in costume. Everyone should be in costume anyway. :) the dads are taking the kids trick or treating ( HA!) and we will pass out candy and eat. Then i have less than a week to 'cram' to fit into that slinky ballgown. ( What was I thinking!) So the candy is off limits to me till after the ball. I can not wait to decorate. ( Nick is seeing dollar signs with pumpkins on them floating away!) To plan the food. Emily is thrilled about the food , of course. I don't think Katey has realized she will have her braces on so most candy will be off limits. Poor kid.
I haven't decided on my costume. Last year I was a Domestic Goddess ( grecian type costume) this year I was going to be Ms America ( i found the sash at Claires for $1) but can't find the big a** crown. I saw a wonder woman costume at Target but it was $40!!! The joann here is lousy so I don't know. Still thinking.....
